Watson was found with his friend, Holmes, dumped in the southern New Mexico mountains. Both of these sweet geldings are gaining weight and improving every day.
Watson is extremely friendly and loves attention. He bonded immediately with his new paddock mate Curtis and carefully supervises anyone who is doing chores or working with other horses nearby.
Our trainers have not yet assessed Watson’s level of training. He stands very politely for the farrier. He will be eligible for adoption once he has gotten back to a healthy weight and completed his ground skills training, which includes round pen work and trailer loading.
