Born on Cinco de Mayo, Zara was a sweet surprise for us. She’s named after Ignacio Zaragoza, a Mexican general who led his forces in defeating French forces on May 5, 1862 (Cinco de Mayo). Her mother, Glory, was unknowingly pregnant after coming to us from the NM Livestock Board. After arriving in January, Glory started to show her pregnancy, and we were rewarded with Zara.
This cutie enjoys attention and will soon be haltered. The next step will be teaching her groundwork skills including lunging in the round pen and around obstacles. She will make a great prospect for any discipline as she gets older.
