Wyatt
ADOPTED December 2019
Thoroughbred/Grade Gelding
Born: 2004
Arrival: July 2019
This stately and proud sorrel 16-hand gelding was found wandering near Sandia Park very underweight and with a halter embedded into his skin. But he had a spark in his eye and was eager to start life anew. Since his time at the ranch, he has quickly become a volunteer favorite. He has a tattoo under his top lip, indicating he’s been a part of the racing circuit at some point in his life.
In just a few months, he’s already near his idea weight and has proven to be quite a gentleman. He can be haltered and led with ease and performs groundwork skills and in-hand obstacles like a champ. This guy is a true gentleman. We haven’t yet assessed his riding skills but will be doing so soon now that he’s improved his body condition.
