Venus came to us as an owner surrender very underweight,. But with proper dental care and a good diet, her body condition improved quickly and she’s blossomed into a beautiful mare.
Venus is an off-track Thoroughbred, registered as “Zonna.” She ran 14 races from 2019 to 2022 and won $14,679 before retiring. She will be eligible for adoption once she has weaned her foal and has completed her ground skills training assessment, which includes round pen work, standing for the farrier, and trailer loading.
