Under saddle.
Smudge was found wandering an Albuquerque mesa with a large herd. He has come out of his shell and loves to supervise our volunteers while they clean his water tank. After some basic training, he now does well with his ground training which includes round pen work, standing for the farrier and trailer loading. He’s also seems to have been ridden before and is doing well under saddle.
Smudge would do best with an intermediate rider (he likes to test you sometimes) and lighter riding because he does have mild arthritis in the knee.
