Halter trained and ground trained.
Smudge was found wandering an Albuquerque mesa with a large herd. After some basic training, he now does well with his ground training which includes round pen work, standing for the farrier and trailer loading.
Smudge can be ridden trainers have not yet fully assessed him under saddle. He has arthritis in his front right knee, but our veterinarian believes he should be okay for light riding and can be given previcox as needed.
