Halter trained and ground trained.
Slim was found abandoned, severely underweight and sore when he first arrived. After a few months, Slim gained an appropriate weight and began to move much more comfortably after several chiropractic visits. He has some arthritis that doesn’t seem too painful but it’s recommended he not be ridden.
Slim has a reserved and thoughtful personality. He has ground training has rebuilt his topline through ground exercise. He stands very patiently for the farrier. Due to metabolic issues, he needs to be on a grass only diet, but he does not currently need any medications.
