Proud Prancer is a youngster abandoned with two other young horses around the Christmas holiday, but fortunately he and the others were relatively healthy. He’s now on his way to becoming well-trained young man.
Prancer needs a patient and consistent trainer to reinforce and improve his skills. He likes to move fast when lunging and is willing to canter with just a suggestion, but he also walks decently. He also does all the in-hand obstacles such as the carwash (walking through pool noodles), the tarp, and trailer loading but he’s still working on backing out of the trailer.
Because of his youth, Prancer can be stubborn and hard to catch. Overall though, he’s showing great potential and is working hard to improve skills. Stay tuned to hear more about his progress!
