Piper and her mom, Penny, were found wandering with an abandoned herd near Albuquerque. She was a bit shy at first but loved to zoom around her pen.
Now Piper has blossomed into a smart, friendly mare with quick reflexes and a powerful build. She does well with her ground training which includes round pen work, standing for the farrier and trailer loading.
