Named after the Greek goddess of spring, Persephone was found alongside a tightknit abandoned herd on an Albuquerque mesa south of town.
Persephone will soon be assessed by our trainers and will be eligible for adoption once she has completed ground skills training, which includes round pen work, standing for the farrier and trailer loading.
