Liz Wolf

Board Member

Liz joined the WNCR board in 2026. She brings extensive experience in fund development, nonprofit management, and publishing, and has been deeply involved with animal welfare for over 10 years. She served on the executive team of Animal Protection New Mexico, a statewide advocacy organization, and volunteers with the Albuquerque Animal Welfare Dept.’s Canine Crew. Most recently, Liz led the production of a state-sponsored report on animal services needs in north central New Mexico, including those of the region’s licensed equine rescues.

Liz has called New Mexico home for over 30 years. She and her husband Steven live in the Albuquerque foothills with Amigo, their Farmington shelter dog, and feline overlord Lily. Liz is honored to help WNCR’s horses, donkeys, and mules find a new family, home, and purpose.
