Regal King Arthur was voluntarily surrendered along with Guinevere and their son, Lancelot, when their owner could no longer care for them. He and the others were very emaciated, but he is now healthy and has been gelded.
Arthur is a very calm and willing learner and has completed all of his ground skills training, which includes round pen work, standing for farrier, and trailer loading. With a solid foundation on the ground, Arthur is now ready to start saddle training. He is extremely affectionate and loves attention from our staff and volunteers. He has been a mentor to our young colts Lancelot and Jackson and is doing a great job making sure they learn healthy herd manners.
