Iris was found wandering an Albuquerque mesa with an abandoned herd. She was completely unsocialized but is quickly gaining trust in her handlers and is progressing well with halter training and learning to stand for the farrier.
Iris has completed her ground skills training, which includes round pen work, standing for farrier, and trailer loading. She is very smart, easy to train, a good mover and shows promise for being a great partner.
