Sweet Caramel is a sure cure for your sweet tooth! She was unbelievably found as an estray by the New Mexico Livestock Board. Lucky for us, we now have her and she’ll be a great find for the family who adopts her.

Caramel has a gorgeous roan coloring and has a calm demeanor, halters very easily, picks up all four feet and loves to be groomed. She also handles in-hand obstacles and trailers with ease. Caramel has a strong willingness to learn and is working to improve her round pen skills.

She has also recently been saddled and seemed to understand very basic cues. She can be mounted easily and will walk around. Although she doesn’t currently know many skills, she is gentle and takes some encouragement to get her to move more quickly. We’ll continue training Caramel under saddle to help her learn more advanced skills.

Fun fact: Caramel gave birth to a healthy filly, Poppy, at the ranch in January 2020.
