Sweet Guinevere was voluntarily surrendered along with King Arthur and their son, Lancelot, when their owner could no longer give them the care they needed. Shortly after her arrival, we discovered she is pregnant and due in early 2024. It wasn’t immediately apparent as she was severely underweight.
Guin was very afraid of human touch at first, and our trainers had to use a carrot stick to initiate contact. She’s slowly learning to trust and will accept being handled. We’ll start groundwork training with her following her delivery.
