General Operations

A perfect day is the smell of a saddle, the touch of a mane, the sound of gentle hooves under foot and a look deep into the soul of a horse through his eyes…if we are lucky; he looks into our souls as well…

Operating hours for the barn are from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday. Office is closed Sunday and Monday. Visits to the ranch for guests are by appointment only. Volunteer and Boarder Hours are: Monday thru Saturday: 8:00 am to 7:00 pm. (Late evening hours during summer months can be arranged) Sunday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.WCNR defers to the horses natural requirements for schedule and routine, with respect for those requirements, strict visitation times are enforced.

Hours for riding (boarders, sponsors and volunteers) are restricted to assure that no one rides alone. Safety of the people and horses is of the utmost concern at WNCR. Safety rules are posted in the barn.

The general operation of the ranch, including rules and regulations, have been developed with the desire to accommodate the needs of the horses as well as the boarder, sponsors, trainers, and staff.
